    DRiefcase is a comprehensive online solution for both patients and medical practitioners. DRiefcase is a secure platform for users to manage their family’s medical records digitally. This is complemented by its clinic and practice management software which practitioners can use not only for better patient experience but also for a more robust diagnosis and treatment plan thereby improving outcomes.

    DRiefcase provides secure online, easy-to-use access to personal health records enabling its users and their families to maintain their medical records in one secure, central location and instantly access them anytime. With unmatched focus on personal health records, DRiefcase has created a patient-centric platform that ensures ease of upload and fast retrieval of records. Further, users can track their health parameters, set reminders, scribble notes, track vaccinations and use a host of DRiefcase partner services.

    DRiefcase (for Patients) app has been live since December 2016 and has seen a strong response.

    About DRiefcase Connect:

    A logical extension for DRiefcase, DRiefcase Connect is a comprehensive practice management tool meant for Doctors and Hospitals to manage their medical records and share them with patients digitally along with a host of other features.

    This is a cloud based application (Android only) and web service and can be used simultaneously across multiple devices. Using DRiefcase Connect, doctors can maintain patient medical records, track patient history, schedule appointments and give digital prescriptions.

  2. Why do I need DRiefcase Connect?

    DRiefcase Connect is a comprehensive practice management app with a host of features.

    DRiefcase Connect is a one-stop shop to manage all the needs to running your practice: E-Prescriptions, Scanned Prescriptions, Appointments, Video-Consulting, Billing, Inventory and more.

    But most importantly, it is about creating a record of your patients’ medical history so that it is readily available when needed in the future. It is a step towards making you better prepared to deal with medical emergencies and otherwise. Mind you, paper-based records are easier to create, but they prove difficult to search when in need.

    DRiefcase Connect is designed to provide you with all the benefits of electronic medical record systems with minimal impact on your working style. As a medical practitioner you continue writing prescriptions the same way you have been doing thus far. All that is needed is for your receptionist / assistant to click a picture of the prescription before handing it out to the patient. DRiefcase team will take care of the rest at the back-end.

    With DRiefcase Connect, documenting your practice could never be easier. Our comprehensive patient card conveniently features all of the patient’s relevant information in one place for increased efficiency and minimal distraction.   4. Why do my patients need DRiefcase? Why should I advise my patients to register on DRiefcase?

    With DRiefcase, patients get instant access to their health records, including diagnosis, medication, immunizations and procedure history anywhere, anytime (provided you have chosen to share). Updates to patient records are available in real-time.

    Patients can share documents with you through their app, so that they can avoid an unnecessary trip to the clinic or avail of your care even when out of town.

  6. Where all are you present?

    DRiefcase is an India only platform. In India we are physically present in Mumbai but given the format of our offering, we can offer DRiefcase and DRiefcase Connect anywhere in India.

  7. Do you have a doctor listing service? Will DRiefcase help me get more patients?

    No. DRiefcase Connect is a practice management software and not an advertising platform. You can use it not only for better patient experience but also for a more robust diagnosis and treatment plan.

  8. Will DRiefcase customise the software for me?

    DRiefcase Connect is a feature-rich software and has been built with a lot of research and feedback from doctors across the country. Immense effort has been put to ensure that DRiefcase Connect has features that suit the needs of all practices. Even though we do not sell customized software for individual doctors, our team does add new features continually, based on popular demand.

  1. How can I start using DRiefcase?

    To start using DRiefcase Connect, you can register on the DRiefcase Connect website or Android app. This registration is a very simple process and doesn't not require any payment.

    DRiefcase Connect for is free to use for 7 days. After this you will have to select one of the subscription packages to continue.

  2. Who can register for DRiefcase?

    DRiefcase Connect is available to all healthcare providers (Doctors & Hospitals) in India. DRiefcase Connect supports multi-location and multi-doctor setup so only the primary Doctor of the setup needs to be registered with DRiefcase Connect. Primary Doctor can then add the other Doctors and Assistants to the account.

  3. I want to try DRiefcase first before subscribing. Can I do that?

    Yes, we provide a 7-day free trial period during which you can try all the feature of DRiefcase Connect. Once you are satisfied testing it you can subscribe for it.

  4. How much time do I need to invest to get started?

    DRiefcase Connect is extremely easy to learn and use. To help our customers, we have a support manual which will act as a quick reference for you and your staff while learning any feature. In case you need further assistance, our support team will be happy to help.

  5. What about my staff? Will I have to teach them how to use DRiefcase?

    No, you don’t have to teach your staff. We are there to help. To learn any feature, your staff can refer to the support manual, at their convenience. They can also reach out to our support team for more assistance and training.

  6. What are the technical / hardware requirements for using DRiefcase?

    DRiefcase is a cloud based service that can be availed through our website or our Android app. There is no requirement for any special hardware. To start using DRiefcase Connect, you can register on the DRiefcase Connect website or Android app. This registration is a very simple process and doesn't not require any payment.

  1. What all services do you offer?

    DRiefcase Connect is about managing your practice – not only your clinic.

    Our core service is our unique documentation system which helps you manage your patients’ medical records digitally without significant disruption to your way of practice. This ensures that in case you need to access these records anytime in future you can do so instantly. This includes, not only issuing e-prescriptions and making clinical notes but also uploading other documents (such as diagnostic investigation reports).

    We have recently added video consulting module which is in compliance with the latest telemedicine guidelines. Doctors can also choose to receive consultation fees in advance.

    It also has a comprehensive appointment management module which can cater to a multi-doctor multi-location setup. Further, there’s a fairly easy to use billing module to help you keep track of the financial aspect of your practice.

    In addition, we have built special modules for certain practitioners – a vaccination tracker for pediatricians / general practitioners and a customized diet plan generator for nutritionists.

  2. Does DRiefcase Connect suggest treatment, prescriptions or any other recommendations?

    No. DRiefcase Connect is a practice management software to assist Doctors to keep a track of their practice. In no way does it make any recommendations whatsoever. In certain cases like prescriptions, it does provide matching suggestions to make typing faster based on available data. However, the final selections have to be made by the Doctor based on individual knowledge.

  3. How do I upload documents in DRiefcase?

    DRiefcase Connect is designed to provide you all the benefits of an electronic medical records platform with minimal impact to you working style. And documenting your practice could never be easier.

    • Upload documents using the in-app camera (and you don’t have to do it, we will train your assistant!)
    • Unique patient check-in feature
    • Get your patients to e-mail you their records for your reference
    • Maintain clinical notes, typed or scanned – that’s your choice!
    • Generate prescriptions in a jiffy, thanks to our intelligent module (again, typed or scanned – that’s your choice!)

    This can be done by you or your assistant / receptionist.

  4. Can I send SMS communications to my patients through DRiefcase? If yes how many SMSes can I send per month?

    Yes, DRiefcase Connect facilitates SMS and email communications to your patients when an appointment is booked or when documents are uploaded in their account. 

    There is no limitation to the number of SMSes or emails you can send. You get unlimited SMSes with all subscription types.

  5. How do I set appointments in DRiefcase?

    To set the appointment, you need to setup the slots first. This can be done through the Set Appointments tab in the Settings Menu. The Appointment Slot can be edited / deleted subsequently provided there are no pending appointments in that Slot.

    In case an appointment slot has appointments pending then there are two ways to edit this slot

    1. by deleting all the pending appointments first. or
    2. by changing the To Date of the Appointment Slot such that it covers the last pending appointment. The other changes can then be made by setting a new Slot with a new appropriate From Date

    In addition, you can get your patients to also book appointments with you through the DRiefcase patent side app. Alternatively, you can send a weblink to your patients to let them book an appointment.

  6. I have multiple locations. How do I manage these?

    DRiefcase Connect provides a very easy mechanism to setup as many locations / clinics as you want through the Settings tab in the Main Menu. Once set, you can choose any location at the time of login to view / manage the queue there.

  7. I have multiple doctors in my setup. How do I manage these?

    DRiefcase Connect is designed for a multi-doctor and multi-location setup. The registered doctor can add as many other doctors and assistants as she wants to her account through the Assistants tab in the Main Menu.

    These Doctors can then be mapped to different locations and assistants. Further the registered Doctor can control the access each of these Doctors / Assistants have at the time of adding them or subsequently.

  8. I handle a lot of X-Ray films. How can I upload these?

  1. What is Cloud and what are its advantages?

    In a Cloud based application, the application and your data is stored in a server that is accessed by internet. As a result, you can access your data from any device which has an internet connection.

    Compare this to any software installed on your computer which can only be accessed from your computer and no other device.

  2. How secure is my data in Cloud? Is my patients’ data safe and secure?

    With DRiefcase, the records are in safe hands - we use state-of-the-art 256-bit encryption to secure the records, both for storage and transmission. All medical records are stored on one of the foremost, secure cloud services globally.

    Your and your patients’ privacy is of utmost importance to DRiefcase. DRiefcase will never give your or their personal details to any third party without explicit permission. However, DRiefcase uses the information for various business purposes, including to provide and optimize its various services, and to analyse, create and distribute aggregate, anonymized data as allowed under prevailing Indian laws.

  3. What will be my renewal price? Will it be same as my purchase price?

    Renewal price for an existing plan will not change in successive years more than 10% at a time. However, if an older plan has been discontinued and your subscription is inactive, then you may have to select from the available plans.

    Also, we may add more premium services that could be chargeable in the future.

  4. What payment types are accepted?

    We accept most payment types available, including cheque, online payment, net banking or cash.

  5. What about updates? Will I have to purchase the software again?

    Once you subscribe to the DRiefcase Connect, you are automatically entitled to all updates for free. However, we may add independent modules that may contain premium services which may be chargeable.

  6. Would you change the prices for maintenance?

    No. There are no charges other than the Subscription fee.

    Absolutely yes. We respect your data and you will have full access to it whenever you need it. In case you decide to discontinue with DRiefcase Connect, you can call us for the data and we will provide it to you in an expeditious manner.

  3. What If I forget my User ID or Password?

    Your user ID is your registered email address. In case you forget your user ID please call us at our helpline + 91 808080 2509.
